[Redacted] A New Comic Book-y Scifi Roguelike

Known for its fps battle royale style games like PUBG, Korean studio Krafton’s new offering is a Guardians of the Galaxy-like cyber punk prison breakout hack and slash called [Redacted].

Here’s Krafton’s description in its PR copy:

Black Iron, a state of the art penitentiary located on Jupiter’s icy moon Calisto, is overrun with hordes of infected inmates. As a modest prison guard your job is simple — to get the last escape pod and get out alive.

But you aren’t the only survivor looking to escape. Your rivals – a deranged custodian, a violent gangster and a maniacal lunch lady, can’t wait to step over your corpse and save themselves.

Looks like a sleeker, futuristic Diablo III ish escape thriller. With a release date of Halloween 2024, that seems quite on brand.
