Some people require a little more of a thrill when it comes to their gaming experience. Just ask people who love to flock to Vegas and they’ll tell you nothing adds more thrill to a game than the allure of potentially winning big money! That’s right, you can play an app against other players and win actual money. This isn’t a standard poker/casino gambling game, however. This one comes in the form of a big buck hunter! For those of us who enjoy fishing and hunting games this game could be perfect for you!
Game types range in value as well as entry fee, rules, and length of time. If you’re not the gambling sort you do not have to invest real-world money and can play for tokens and tickets which unlock badges and opportunities to play in other non-money tournaments. If you do want to play for a chance at the green, the opportunity is there to invest as little as a few dollars to get started. There are incentives to investing more money, as in price guarantees and money matches, but I highly recommend playing a few free rounds to get acquainted with the dynamics of the game before you start throwing away your hard earned dollars!
If you’re unfamiliar with Big buck hunting, the point of the game is to shoot the buck in one of two vital organs to secure an instant kill and the most pristine buck carcass possible. The more precise the shot the higher the score. If you only manage to wound the buck you have another opportunity to take a second or third shot if you’re quick enough. The way the player shoots is by holding down their finger over the buck they want to target. The scope automatically comes on screen and begins a countdown timer that is visible on the edge of the scope viewer. Once the timer is up, the shot will be released. The player can cancel a shot by dragging their finger to the bottom of the screen. The player can release the shot sooner by lifting their finger off of the screen. The player has to factor in the movement and direction of the buck as well as doe that are running around in the area and can get in the way of a shot. If the player does hit a doe by accident they are penalized for this in their overall score. The person with a higher score after five buck attempts is the winner. The game automatically searches for opponents who are playing the type of game that the player searching for. If no immediate opponent is available the game will save the score and update the player of the progress results once it has found an opponent and they’ve completed their round. If the player wants to see how the match played out they are able to watch a small video of both their and the opponents performance in that round. If the player logs off for a while and have a few matches pending they are given a summary of their wins and losses once the player logs back in.
If you’re sensitive about killing animals then this game is probably not the gambling game for you. However, if you’re an outdoor fan and like to wager on your skills against other gamers, this game could be perfect! As with all games, I always caution against excessive spending and if you do you have a problem with gambling there are resources available here: https://www.ncpgambling.orgOr by calling 1-800-522-4700
