Damian Lillard is a bad man.  We knew this when he hit one of the most epic game-winners in playoff history to eliminate the loaded Houston Rockets (with James Harden, Patrick Beverly and Dwight Howard on the floor) in the first round of the 2014 playoffs:

One of the elite point guards in the game, but never considered the best, Lillard went full on NBA JAM in tonight’s clinching win against the favored OKC Thunder.  His final stat line, 50 points, 7 Rebounds, 6 Assists, and the most unholy game winning step-back deep three you will see if your lifetime:

To keep this post on topic, here’s a video by YouTuber Big BoyYoyo of Lillard dropping 75 in a classic NBA JAM matchup with Ricky Rubio’s Timberwolves.  Throw the man a subscribe while you’re at it, he’s only got 40.

And back to reality, otherwise known as Damina Lillard’s personal video game. Here are his full highlights of the Blazers’ comeback against the Thunder, fueled by Lillard’s array of contested deep jumpers and the inspired play of liberated Turkish big man, Enes Kanter.

There’s something special about watching someone go full Matrix and transcending reality to create a moment that is typically rendered in pixels on a projection- screened  Toshiba in your parents’ basement.
