Watching ProdigyDDK along with his pals play Baldur’s Gate 3 was entertaining however, beware of explicit language…. often. Kick does a good job of letting you know of explicit content with a “pop-up” window, so you can’t say you weren’t warned!
When I first started watching the stream the party of 5 was playing around with their weapons and armor load outs before they started out on their quest. A party of 5 heading into a goblin dungeon. Being that Baldur’s gate 3 is still a relatively new game, the party members had a little trouble figuring out where to go, however, they worked well together and helped each other out.
A game like BG3 has a lot of quest cutscenes, ProdigyDDK let the scenes play out and didn’t talk too much during them in real role play fashion allowing the viewers to get fully engaged in the gameplay and what’s going on during the stream.
I asked ProdigyDDK during his stream what he liked most about streaming. He laughed and quickly replied:
“When you were a kid playing video games alone was fun, but when you were with the neiborhood kids it was a lot more fun…and streaming is the same way!”
ProdigyDDK prefers to stream on Kick because of the freedom the new platform allows its creators when it comes to picking one over the other, he says, “Depends on what you’re doing or wanting to do with your streams. Kick, to me, is a lot better because of the freedom. Twitch is a lot more popular and has a huge user base, so if you care about that kind of thing, then you want to go with Twitch. But on Twitch you have to really watch what you say, everyone is a lot more sensitive.
Gaming is a lot more fun with friends.
ProdigyDDK enjoy gaming most with his friends and says that his most memorable stream is any When he was playing with his friends, and “we just have a blast!”
When it comes to the negative side of streaming ProdigyDDF says that “People are very dumb in chat.” He doesn’t know what can be done to change the way people interact with streamers. As we’ve seen in gaming, there is a toxic side to viewers who interact with streamers. Some might be purposefully mean to gain attention while others, as ProdigyDDF says are “just dumb”
Casino Game Streams are also a thing
In this all-time Prodigy highlight, he hits a jackpot (on a blind spin) in Gladiator Legends worth almost $4 million.
This was the first ProdigyDDF stream in the non-casino game realm which is a popular streaming category on Kick. Those streams are not as entertaining as his Baldur’s Gate 3 stream with his friends. They communicate and play well together, which is a difficult thing to do when streaming. I would watch his stream again; I wouldn’t recommend the casino streams unless you enjoy watching graphics spin on a screen. Not my cup ‘O tea!
