April showers bring free games once again this month for PlayStation plus subscribers! Three vastly different gaming experiences are available for players this month which include a medieval heist game, an animated cartoon classic remade for the next generation consuls, and a turn based card style game! Download these games to your library now to be able to play them later!
Hood: Outlaws and Legends
Hood: Outlaws and Legends is a Robin Hood themed medieval time game where players can group up in teams of four thieves to commit the perfect heist. Players can choose different characters like Took, Maid Marion, or Little John all which have different skill attributes and weapons. Players can compete in 4vAI, or 4v4v AI encounters. Once the players complete the map the can decide on how much gold to give back to the people, the more generous the player is the more rewards and perks they get.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends runs on seasons. Currently its in season 3. Players can unlock additional equipment and cosmetic items by competing in the seasons.
SpongeBob: The Battle for Bikini Bottom- Rehydrated
“Are you ready kids? Aye, aye, Captain!”
The classic SpongeBob video game “The Battle for Bikini Bottom” has been remastered for the next generation consoles with additional added content that was previously unreleased in the original. Players can play as SpongeBob, Patrick Star, and Sandy the squirrel all who which have special skills and abilities to help stop Plankton and his evil robots from taking over Bikini Bottom!
Fans of the cartoon will recognize lots of the characters in this game! Play side by side or online for 2 players in hoard mode.
This is a fun game for all ages!
Slay the Spire
For those players that like a little turn based combat there is Slay the Spire. Slay the Spire is a card/turn based game where players battle A menagerie of interesting and unique monsters. players traverse up a ladder of increasingly difficult opponents and are rewarded with perks and new cards for their deck. The tower changes every time a player begins their journey. The player can discover “relics” which can be used to improve the effectiveness of the cards in their deck. If the player can master their cards and the combinations that work best which each other, they can have a lot of success Traversing the tower. This is a single player only game.
You can find these free games in the PlayStation App and store under the PlayStation plus section. Just click the “add to library” button and the game will be reserved for you in your PlayStation library to download whenever you like as long as you have an active PlayStation plus subscription.
