In our days of parodies and remixes, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that sometimes the parody is more loved than the original. Here are some parody songs that CaptainSparklez did better than the original artists – and some that he didn’t, according to Youtubers.
CaptainSparklez, whose real name is Jordan Maron, released TNT (a parody of Taio Cruz’s Dynamite) on February 26, 2011. It was the first Minecraft song posted on his YouTube channel, CaptainSparklez.
At the end of the music video, he shares the song’s credit with Igor Gordienko (TryHardNinja to many Youtubers) for vocals and Christopher Lee (Doc Exx on YouTube) for his part in audio mixing and production. As for the rest, such as assembling, animating and editing visuals, as well as, recreating the Dynamite instrumental using Minecraft note blocks and writing lyrics (with some input from TryHardNinja) were done by CaptainSparklez himself.

Since was uploaded on February 2011, reaction from the population was nothing short of explosive. (Pun totally intended!) Past four years, many Youtube viewers have added comments ((196,476 of them, to be exact) to the video to express wide range of their love, support and other various reactions. Among, literally thousands and thousands of comments, here are some that have caught my eyes for one reason or the other.
There were many nostalgic comments about how good Minecraft used to be – or not, in some cases:
Angry nostalgia

(Cumulative through March 9, 2015) Compare it to Taio Cruz’s Dynamite music video that has been viewed 32,199,181 times and liked 127,000 times, I would need to quote CaptainSparklez and say, “This is gnarbuckle, bro!”
